Guide to Alicante Tourist Routes

When you arrive at Alicante Airport for the first time and try to figure out how to get from Alicante to Benidorm, Calpe, Altea, Murcia, or other cities around the Costa Blanca, things can be a bit confusing.  The area outside Alicante Airport is one huge taxi and bus stop, and the only way to avoid the confusion is to have your Alicante car hire reserved and know where you want to go.

To reach the city of Calpe and see its massive rock on the Costa Blanca, you can go either by AP-7 highway or the N-332 national road.  The national road provides the most scenic drive, as it leads up to Calpe along the coastline from Alicante.

The town of Benidorm is located about 45 km northeast of Alicante, just south of Altea.  This town is a main attraction, with its contrasting skyscraper-skyline and strands of beaches.  Travel to Altea and Benidorm is best made by car hire Alicante
